PRELIMINARY TREATMENT OF SURFACE
Wood and wood-based materials must be cleaned from dust, dirt, grease and layers of previous covers. After preliminary treatment and before applying OVPF-1 protective cover the surface must be completely dry (moisture of timber not more than 15% according to GOST 16588-91).
APPLICATION METHOD
OVPF-1 cover is two component and consists of a liquid component - base and a hardener - a small crystal powder. Apply the cover by hand, with a spittle or brush, or mechanically. The next layer can only be applied after the previous one has hardened (not less than 2 hours).
COVER CONSUMPTION
The cover is applied in 1 - 2 layers, the total amount needed is 1.2 - 1.3 kg/m².
TRANSPORTATION AND COURAGE REQUIREMENTS
The ready to use composition can be transported by any kind of covered vehicle. Keep the substance in plastic containers or metal buckets in a closed room at temperatures from +5 to +35ºC.
WARRANTED PERIOD
The warranted period of the liquid component (base) and the hardener - 0.5 year since manufacturing date, in a tightly container. The duration of OVPF-1 cover services is not less than 5 years.
