APPLICATION METHOD
Before applying the mastics clean the roof surface from dirt, loose particles, etc. There must be no visible condensate or water on the surface. Mastics are supplied ready to use. Before application mix carefully. Apply the mastic with a mechanical device or by hand.
The necessary amount without loss is 5.6 kg/m² with the dry layer thickness of 3 mm. If the cover is damaged it can be restored by applying the mastic to the damage place.
The first layer drying time is not more than 24 hours is favorable drying conditions - air temperature 20º±5ºC, relative air humidity not more than 85%. The time interval between the two layers can be more than 24 hours. Apply the next layer after the previous one has dried.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE REQUIREMENTS
OKM and OKM-1 mastics are not hazardous and can be transported by any kind of covered vehicle according to the rules for the particular vehicle.
Keep the mastics in hermetically closed metal containers at temperatures not less than +5ºC with relative humidity up to 80%.
