printable versionThermolene ribbon is used for filling the gaps in fire protection doors, hatches, fire resistant safes, etc.
The fitting is achieved due to the fact that at high temperatures (more than 150ºC) the filling of the ribbon expands and fills the gaps thus preventing flame, smoke and hot gases.

USE
THERMOLENE thermal fitting ribbon is stuck to clean, free from grease of the door frame or the door itself along the whole perimeter. The surface to which THERMOLENE is applied must be even, without defects.
APPLICATION METHOD
Remove the protective film from THERMOLENE ribbon and press the sticky side to the door frame along the perimeter. The parts of the ribbon must closely fit to each other.
Stick the ribbon carefully to avoid loose fragments. The ribbon must be placed close to the inside part of the door frame.
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE REQUIREMENTS
THERMOLENE thermal fitting ribbon is not hazardous and can be transported by any kind of covered vehicle. Keep PK composition in a tightly closed container in a dry closed room at temperature from +5 to 35ºC with relative humidity up to 75%.
WARRANTED PERIOD
Warranted period of THERMOLEN storage is 12 month since manufacturing date, if storage requirements are observed it can be kept in undamaged original containers for not less than 15 years.
